This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, shared and protected when you use the İlaç Defterim mobile application. By using the application you accept the data-processing activities described in this policy.
1. Data Controller
Your personal data is processed by Uğur Coşkun, acting as data controller.

2. Data Collected
Account and Authentication Information
- Email address
- The user identifier issued by the relevant provider when signing in with Google, Apple or Facebook
Profile Information
- First and last name
- Phone number (if provided)
- Profile location information
Location Information
- The device's current location (only while showing nearby pharmacies)
Health and Medication Information
- Medication names, dosing times and days entered by the user
- Medication "taken" records
- Blood-pressure readings
- Doctor name and appointment details
- Any other health data the user chooses to add
Device and Notification Information
- The device push token, used to deliver notifications
- Basic device information required for the application to function
Usage and Technical Data
- In-app activity and audit records (logs)
- Records kept for troubleshooting and security purposes
The application does not request the following: prescription number, national ID number, or hospital records. (Doctor name and appointments are stored only to the extent the user enters them.)
3. Purposes of Processing
- Creating a user account and authentication
- Sending medication reminder notifications
- Making it easier for the user to track their health
- Showing nearby pharmacies
- Sharing prescriptions with team members chosen by the user
- Improving application performance and resolving technical issues
- Carrying out security processes
4. Sharing of Data
Personal data is never sold to third parties. It is shared only in the following circumstances:
- Other users (Teams):when you join a team or share your prescription with one, the prescription/medication information you share and the "taken" notifications are visible to the other users in that team.
- Service providers (processors): notification infrastructure (Firebase/Google), email delivery, authentication providers (Google/Apple/Facebook), and server/cloud infrastructure.
- Legal authorities: competent public authorities where legally required.
5. Transfer Abroad
The servers of notification, authentication and cloud infrastructure providers may be located outside Turkey. Your personal data may therefore be transferred abroad, in accordance with applicable legislation, in order to provide the service.
6. Data Security
Reasonable technical and administrative security measures are applied to protect user data.
7. Retention Period
Personal data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and as required by applicable legal obligations. When you delete your account or request its deletion, your data is deleted or anonymised, subject to any statutory retention obligations.
8. Location Data
Location information is used solely to show nearby pharmacies. Users can withdraw location permission at any time from their device settings.
9. Deleting Your Account and Data
You can permanently delete your account from within the application (Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account). When the account is deleted, the data linked to it — including your prescriptions, medication records, blood-pressure readings, team memberships and consent records — is deleted, subject to any statutory retention obligations. You can also send a deletion request to info@ilacdefterim.com.
10. Children's Privacy
The application is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age.
11. Your Rights and Contact
Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and related legislation, you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Board. You can send your requests to info@ilacdefterim.com.

This Privacy Policy may be updated where necessary; the current version is published on this page and within the application.
